MTS Admissions

Applications for the Master of Theological Studies for the New Evangelization

Application for the Master of Theological Studies

Applicants for the MTS degree must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and the desire to evangelize the truth of Christ. The applicant must submit a fully completed, written application with accompanying Application Fee of $75.00. The application includes an essay, undergraduate/graduate transcripts, and three recommendations (one from the applicant’s pastor). Upon receipt of all the above mentioned materials, an admissions interview will be scheduled. Applicants may choose to submit an academic paper from a college course but are not required to do so. The MTS Program does not require applicants to submit Graduate Record Examination scores but will consider them if submitted.

The Master of Theological Studies program has a rolling admissions policy. In addition to degree candidates, the Theological Institute welcomes laity, deacons, and religious, who seek to take courses for continuing education credits or personal enrichment. Courses successfully completed for credit while an applicant is a non-degree student will be counted toward the completion of the Master of Theological Studies degree when an applicant is accepted as a degree student. Auditors are welcome if space is available.

If you are unable to download and print the application with the links below, please call the Theological Institute at (617) 779-4104 ext. 3 or email to have an application sent to you.
